A Personal Welcome

Welcome to
Levesque Plastic Surgery

Choosing a plastic surgeon is one of the most personal decisions you'll make. I want you to feel completely informed, comfortable, and confident before we ever meet in person.

In this short video I'll introduce myself, share a bit about my philosophy, and walk you through what you can expect when you come in for a consultation. My approach is straightforward: I take the time to understand your goals, I give you an honest assessment, and I only recommend surgery when I genuinely believe it's the right choice for you.

I look forward to meeting you.

Biography

Andre Y. Levesque, MD

Dr. Andre Y. Levesque, MD is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon serving Austin, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin before earning his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He matched directly from medical school into the integrated plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Albany Medical Center — at the time one of fewer than 100 such positions nationwide — completing six years of dedicated training. He then refined his aesthetic skills in a fellowship under Dr. James Grotting in Birmingham, Alabama — an Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship endorsed by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), one of the most respected additional credentials in the field. He has held faculty positions at both Albany Medical College and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and trained with Dr. Alfredo Hoyos in Bogotá — the pioneer of hi-definition liposuction.

In independent practice since 2013, Dr. Levesque founded Levesque Plastic Surgery in Austin in 2018 with a clear focus: to offer high-level, academically grounded plastic surgery in a setting that feels personal, unhurried, and deeply patient-centered. He sees every patient himself; every surgical procedure is performed by or appropriately supervised by Dr. Levesque, and he stays personally involved through every stage of your care.

His clinical focus is facial rejuvenation — particularly the deep plane facelift, which he has refined and performed hundreds of times. He is one of a small number of surgeons offering the wide-awake deep plane facelift under local anesthesia, a technique that eliminates general anesthesia risks and is associated with faster recovery and less postoperative bruising.

Beyond facial surgery, Dr. Levesque performs the full spectrum of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, including breast augmentation, breast lift, tummy tuck, liposuction, rhinoplasty, and eyelid surgery. He also offers non-surgical treatments including BOTOX, dermal fillers, and advanced skin resurfacing.

Dr. Levesque has published peer-reviewed research in journals including the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, Facial Plastic Surgery, and the Canadian Journal of Plastic Surgery, and authored chapters in the surgical reference Problems in Breast Surgery: A Repair Manual (Fisher & Handel, eds.) — his selected publications and presentations are listed below. He consistently earns five-star reviews across Google and RealSelf. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and the Texas Medical Association (TMA).

He lives and practices in Austin, where he spent his formative years and attended the University of Texas — and where he remains committed to providing the Austin community with the caliber of surgical care typically found only in major cosmopolitan centers.

Our Why

Confidence,
restored.

Every operation I perform serves one purpose: that you walk away feeling confident and free in your own skin — not "done," not someone else, but yourself, at your most at-ease. Whether you're a mother reclaiming her body after children, someone who wants to look as vital as they feel, or a person finally letting go of something they've carried for years, that freedom is what I'm working toward.

Getting there rests on three promises. I'll give you honest counsel — telling you when surgery is the right answer and when it isn't; I have turned patients away when I didn't believe I could give them what they wanted. I aim for natural results that look like you at your best, never overdone. And I use the advanced techniques that make those results possible and lasting. Nothing more than you need; nothing less than you deserve.

01

Results That Look Like You

I operate at the structural level of the face and body — repositioning, not just tightening. Results look natural because they are anatomically correct, not because we pulled the skin.

02

Safety First, Always

My wide-awake local anesthesia approach isn't just a selling point — it reflects a genuine commitment to minimizing risk. General anesthesia carries real risks. If we can avoid it safely, we should.

03

Personal Involvement

I see you at every consultation. Every surgical procedure is performed by me or under my appropriate supervision, and your postoperative care is always with me. You are my patient, not a file.
