Consultation
Dr. Levesque examines your nasal anatomy, discusses your specific concerns, reviews digital imaging of projected changes, and explains the recommended technique, recovery, and realistic timeline for final results.
Surgery Day
Rhinoplasty takes 2–3 hours under general anesthesia or IV sedation in our Austin surgical suite. A nasal splint is applied. You go home the same day with care instructions.
Recovery & Results
The splint is removed at 1 week. Bruising under the eyes resolves in 1–2 weeks. Most patients are socially presentable at 2 weeks. The nose gradually refines over 12–18 months as swelling fully resolves and final contour emerges.

Am I a Candidate?

Good Candidates Typically Have:
- Dorsal hump or bump along the nasal bridge
- Undefined, bulbous, or asymmetric nasal tip
- Wide nasal base or nostrils out of proportion
- Nasal breathing obstruction (may combine with septoplasty)
- Good overall health; fully grown (typically 17+ for women, 18+ for men)
- Non-smoker or willing to quit ≥4 weeks before surgery
Factors That May Affect Candidacy:
- Active smoking — significantly increases healing complications
- Nasal bones still developing (under ~17–18 years)
- Unrealistic expectations — rhinoplasty refines, does not completely change ethnicity or identity
- Significant body dysmorphia — requires psychological evaluation first
