Neck Lift — Before & After

In her mid-30s and at a healthy, stable weight, this patient had under-chin fullness and an indistinct jawline. On exam the fullness was deep to the platysma, so Dr. Levesque recommended deep neck contouring over liposuction or a lateral neck lift — removing deep fat and judiciously contouring the hyoid fascia and digastric muscle with platysma plication. Liposuction alone risks abnormally thin skin and visible bands years later; by preserving the superficial fat layer the result stays natural and durable. Performed under local anesthesia for a swift recovery.
