A physically fit man in his 30s with very low body fat was bothered by fullness under his chin. Ultrasound and exam showed the culprit was deeper fat beneath the platysma — not treatable with liposuction, Kybella, or other non-surgical methods. Dr. Levesque performed a deep (anterior open) neck lift, precisely excising the deep fat and tightening the anterior platysma, in-office under local anesthesia with light sedation. The result is subtle but impactful: a defined jawline and tighter neck with no visible scars and no overly ‘done’ look.
