This healthy young patient wanted fuller breasts that stayed in harmony with her fit physique. After 3D VECTRA simulation, Dr. Levesque used a split-muscle technique for the implant pocket with an inframammary incision and 385cc Sientra moderate-plus smooth round silicone implants. The split-muscle approach gives upper-pole soft-tissue coverage while reducing animation deformity and helping the implant sit in a relatively higher, stable position over time. The one-hour outpatient procedure had no complications, with discreet, barely noticeable scars.
