Dr. Levesque on the Augmentation Mastopexy
This is an augmentation mastopexy — a lift and an implant together — which is technically demanding because you're adding volume and removing skin in one operation. Her tight lower pole and high fold are tuberous traits, so I expanded the lower pole with the implant while lowering the fold for shape.
A dual-plane implant under the muscle adds upper-pole fullness, and a circumvertical (lollipop) lift on a superior pedicle recenters the areola without an extra horizontal scar. The result is a natural, youthful shape even for a mature patient.
