Deep Plane Facelift — Before & After

This patient had early aging with mild-to-moderate jowling, blunting of the cervicomental angle, and overall facial laxity. Dr. Levesque performed a deep plane face and neck lift in-office under local anesthesia with oral medication, using a true sub-SMAS dissection to release the masseteric, zygomatic, cervical, and mandibular ligaments so the SMAS and facial fat reposition without tension. The platysma was split below the mandibular angle and repositioned diagonally, secured behind the ear as a sling. Skin is removed tension-free to avoid wide scars and an unnatural look.
