Eyelid Lift — Before & After

This patient was unhappy after a previous blepharoplasty elsewhere — her eyes seemed to ‘disappear’ in photos with growing asymmetry. Exam showed an elevated lid crease and ptosis, with the upper lid obscuring her iris. Her levator muscle still worked but had dehisced (stretched/detached). Dr. Levesque performed a ptosis repair via tarsolevator advancement, in-office under local anesthesia with oral sedation, so lid height and symmetry could be judged in real time. Using the original incision he conservatively addressed skin and muscle while focusing on the underlying repair, and complemented it with full-face CO2 laser resurfacing. Her eyes now look bright, symmetrical, and refreshed.
