Eyelid Lift — Before & After

This man was having trouble seeing objects in his upper visual field and felt he looked tired. Exam diagnosed upper-eyelid ptosis from levator dehiscence — which can occur with normal aging or trauma. Dr. Levesque corrected the droopy lids with an upper-lid blepharoplasty and tarsolevator advancement using an open-sky technique, performed in the Austin office under local anesthesia so the repair could be judged in real time (avoiding the risks of IV sedation or general anesthesia). Recovery was uneventful; he is shown at three months with a good, age-appropriate, natural correction.
