Neck Lift — Before & After

This man in his 70s, in great shape after significant weight loss, felt his lower face and neck did not match how he felt. Dr. Levesque chose a T-Z neck lift — an anterior approach that removes excess skin and tightens the platysma — performed in-office under local anesthesia, safer than IV sedation or general. The trade-off is a fine scar from the hyoid to the thyroid cartilage, well accepted in men with thick, bearded skin given the substantial contour improvement. Shown at about 5 weeks, with continued improvement expected over the first year.
