This very active, fit grandmother couldn't achieve her ideal abdominal contour through exercise alone. She had the common post-pregnancy changes: loose lax skin, core weakness with rectus diastasis, and excess fat around the belly button. Dr. Levesque performed a lipoabdominoplasty at an accredited outpatient surgery center, directly excising lower abdominal skin and fat and removing about 800 cc of fat with liposuction. Her scar is thin and, shown here at three months, still pink — it will keep fading over time.
