Tummy Tuck — Before & After

This patient wanted a better abdominal contour that diet and exercise couldn't deliver. Dr. Levesque performed a Vaser (ultrasound) assisted lipoabdominoplasty — 2.2 liters of lipoaspirate plus removal of the lower-abdominal skin and fat, with a rectus diastasis repair. Unlike a traditional tummy tuck that lifts the skin all the way to the ribs, the lipoabdominoplasty only separates the skin enough to repair the diastasis, preserving the blood vessels and nerves to the abdominal skin. She is shown at four months (5'7", 180 lbs, BMI 28.2) with a young but healing scar.
