Breast Augmentation — Before & After

This healthy, fit patient in her 50s wanted a breast enlargement proportional to her build. 3D VECTRA analysis set the size at a 425cc Sientra moderate profile implant, placed subglandular through an inframammary fold incision — appropriate given her adequate breast tissue and good skin quality, which let the implant be concealed seamlessly. Subglandular (or subfascial) placement also avoids animation deformity of the muscle. Dr. Levesque used maximal no-touch technique — insertion sleeve plus antibiotic and betadine irrigation — to minimize capsular contracture risk. The roughly one-hour outpatient procedure at an accredited center produced a balanced result with concealed scars and no complications.
