Breast Reduction — Before & After

This young, healthy woman felt her breasts were too large to exercise comfortably or find clothing that fit. Dr. Levesque performed a superior-based breast reduction with a Wise-pattern skin excision, removing about 300 grams of tissue from each side — taking the heaviest tissue from the lower breast while preserving the upper-pole tissue for a youthful shape, and elevating and reducing the nipple-areola. (She also had VASER liposuction of the arms, lateral chest, and abdomen at the same time; those results are shown in the liposuction gallery.) Her recovery was smooth. She is shown at four months, and the scars will continue to fade over the first year and beyond.
