When someone wants to downsize and lift at the same time, reusing the old implant capsule as an internal bra is a smart trick — it gives the smaller new implant extra support in a fresh subpectoral pocket without adding synthetic mesh.

The lift then recenters the areola, reduces its size, and removes the excess lower breast tissue that the smaller implant no longer fills, so the result is proportional and lifted rather than just smaller.
