This mother of four was in good health at an acceptable weight but disliked her abdomen and back contours. Dr. Levesque performed a lipoabdominoplasty with Vaser Lipo360: plication of the abdominal wall to repair rectus diastasis, Vaser-assisted liposuction of the back and abdomen removing an additional 2.5 liters, plus direct excision of lower-abdominal skin and fat. Done outpatient with a transversalis plane block (Exparel) and ERAS protocols; she had a small area of central closure breakdown that was managed with wound care and a later scar revision.

A lipoabdominoplasty with Vaser Lipo360 addresses the torso circumferentially — plicating the separated rectus muscles, removing the excess lower-abdominal skin, and sculpting the back and flanks with about 2.5 liters of liposuction so the result blends with the adjacent areas.

We show the scar honestly in these early photos; it will fade with time and hides in most clothing. She did have a small central wound-healing issue that we managed with wound care and a minor scar revision — part of being transparent about real recoveries.
