This petite mother of two returned to her pre-pregnancy weight through diet and exercise but couldn't achieve her desired contour — largely because of rectus diastasis, the widening between the six-pack muscles that pregnancy causes and that only surgery can correct. Dr. Levesque performed a lipoabdominoplasty to repair the diastasis, remove excess skin and stretch marks, and contour the abdomen and flanks. She is shown after a secondary revision of the lateral scar, which is why it looks slightly darker than the central scar.
